I live in Appleton, WI with my boyfriend and our 6yr old son who just got diagnosed with ADHD. He has speech and developmental delays. I am pretty sure me and my son both have SPD but have not been officially diagnosed.

I'm a former early childhood teacher, a wife, and a mom of two awesome kids (ages 9 and 6). Between the two of them, we deal with SPD, PDD-nos, ADHD, and childhood depression and anxiety. I'm just trying to do the best I can for my family and still find some time for me. I am embracing my children's different abilities, loving their unique outlooks on life, and fighting to provide them with the best of everything as they learn to function in a world that doesn't function like they do! I write about our life at www.tastingthecolors.blogspot.com.

I'm Pilar, more widely known in these parts as "mama p"; writer, artist, zen priest, and mama to 4-year-old Oisin. We're grateful for his recent SPD diagnosis, but complexities remain. So glad we're not alone on this sojourn!

I am a scientist by training, stay at home autism mom by practice. I started this blog to document my experiences and practical solutions that evolve while I parent and homeschool my daughter Beth (a pseudonym for privacy purposes). My hope my blog will help other families who are also fumbling thru autism. My blog can be found at http://fumblingthruautism.wordpress.com/ and I can be contacted at tl_calvert@yahoo.com

I am the mom of six, yep I said six, children. Three are grown and three are under 5. My four year old son has been diagnosed with PDD-NOS and Sensory Processing Disorder.

I am mum to two boys, Perky who is almost 7 years old and has Autism and Sensory Processing Disorder; and Captain Nintendo, who is 9 years old and has Sensory Processing Disorder including Central Auditory Processing Disorder, as well as some traits of ASD, but not enough for a formal diagnosis. Both of my boys are sensory regulators - they have both sensory seeking and sensory avoiding behaviours. Finding out about sensory processing disorder was a big relief for me, because it explained so many things to me, it helped me understand both my boys so much better. Both of them need to be in control of their sensory experiences, and like most of us, anxiety heightens their sensory experiences. I blog about our adventures at www.ishouldhavecalledhimcalvin.wordpress.com

My SPD child is Millie, recently turned 5. She is in OT and PT and has been since she was about 2 1/2. Originally thought to have had a stroke in the womb, whatever happened to her has morphed into SPD. With the countdown to entering Kindergarten coming at me faster and faster, I'm reaching out to see how other people are handling their special kids.... I have 3 other children (two older, one younger) and am a stay-at-home mom.

My name is Sawana. I am 28 years old, married to my best friend, and have the most perfect son every who is now almost 3. I am a massage therapist part time and spend the rest of my time raising my son. Our son has Sensory Processing Disorder specific to textile and proprioceptive input. He still eats pureed baby food because he will not chew and is so sensitive to textures. We currently see an SLP and an OT separately once a week and have seen small strides. I am still "in it" and we are learning as we go. I do not pretend to be an authority on SPD but I am happy to share my experiences and learn from all of yours as well!

I am a former teacher, current stay at home mom to 4 children. Squirt is 9, Boyo is 6, Booga is 4, and Scooter is 10 months old. On our wild ride we are learning to navigate the world of Sensory Processing Disorder, and hope to help educate others about just what this special diagnosis means, how it changes the way kids see the world, and what parents, teachers, Sunday school teachers, and coaches can do to help.
