I am a mom to three beautiful children. My two boys both have SPD, and my oldest is diagnosed with Autism, as well. All three of my children love adventure, so my husband and I try to turn the mundane into the extraordinary as often as we can, in order to satisfy their adventurous personalities. I love my family, reading, crafting, and writing.

I have two boys (ages 6 and almost 2). My youngest son has been diagnosed with SPD and the other one will be assessed for it as well, hopefully within the next couple of months. I have been married for 10 years. My family lives in Anchorage, Alaska. We recently moved up from the Portland, Oregon area. We left most of your support system and resources behind. I am an upper-elementary school teacher.

This group blog is designed for those writing – or those who want to write – about raising a child with Sensory Processing Disorder or sensory issues (that often are comorbid to other diagnoses like Autism, Aspergers, PDD-NOS, Bipolar, ADHD, ADD, Cerebral Palsy, OCD, NVLD, CAPD, Apraxia of Speech, Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Anxiety, Gifted and many others). This is a place to share stories. All of our stories.
